Position Overview
A food manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations in a fast-paced environment. The role involves supervising technicians, driving equipment reliability, supporting capital projects, and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations to meet production goals.

This position is ideal for a proactive maintenance leader with electrical troubleshooting expertise, food manufacturing experience, and a focus on preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team promoting a safety-first culture
  • Supervise troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance
  • Improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
  • Coordinate maintenance projects, equipment installs, and vendor activities
  • Collaborate with production and quality departments for operational efficiency
  • Support preventive/predictive maintenance and reliability initiatives
  • Use KPIs to enhance performance and minimize breakdowns
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and GMP standards
  • Manage scheduling, purchasing, and maintenance budgets
  • Maintain accurate documentation and work records
  • Support continuous improvement and TPM efforts
Qualifications
Required
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Proven leadership and team development experience
  • Experience repairing manufacturing equipment
  • Problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance systems
Preferred
  • 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Food manufacturing background preferred
  • Experience with pumps, valves, packaging, and automation
  • Welding and PLC troubleshooting skills a plus
