Position Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd shift to join our plant maintenance team, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing daily corrective and preventive maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of the Maintenance Department. The Maintenance Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and high-performing facility while supporting the upkeep of physical assets and equipment.
This position also involves providing leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to the maintenance team, ensuring projects are properly prioritized and executed. The supervisor will help identify root causes, recommend effective solutions, and implement long-term improvements to enhance reliability and performance.
The ideal candidate must be flexible and available to work Fridays and occasional weekends, based on operational needs.
The International San Antonio Manufacturing Plant is a benchmark facility producing advanced commercial vehicles designed to meet the evolving needs of today's and tomorrow's customers. San Antonio Manufacturing runs a 4x10 production schedule. This is a 2nd shift position, with hours from 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM Monday - Thursday. This role will support production and may need to cover production recovery times including Fridays and weekends as needed
Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Maintenance Department
Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities
Develop, track, and manage key maintenance KPIs
Monitor and report equipment downtime, driving continuous improvement
Manage maintenance resources effectively while adhering to budget requirements
Lead, coach, and develop maintenance team members
Make decisions regarding equipment maintenance strategies and resource allocation
Determine when to outsource work versus completing it in-house
Manage capital projects, including tracking and reporting progress
Support engineering teams in Lean manufacturing initiatives
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, processes, and regulations

Desired Skills
Proven maintenance leadership experience at the supervisor or manager level
Strong background in tracking performance metrics and driving results
Experience with CMMS or EAM systems, including implementation and optimization
Demonstrated success in improving maintenance reliability and preventive maintenance programs
Experience planning daily maintenance activities, shutdowns, and large-scale projects (including working during shutdown periods)
Background in automotive or heavy manufacturing environments preferred

Salary Minimum: USD $74,400.00/Yr.
