Maintenance Supervisor – 2nd Shift (Evening Shift)
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000

We are hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to lead second shift operations in a chemicals/plastics manufacturing facility. This role is critical in maintaining uptime during off-hours, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, responsiveness, and maintaining production flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead maintenance technicians during second shift operations
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and drive quick resolution
  • Ensure production continuity with minimal disruption
  • Coordinate shift handoffs with 1st shift and communicate ongoing issues
  • Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance
  • Accurately document maintenance activity within CMMS systems
  • Identify recurring issues and escalate for long-term solutions
  • Operate with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in chemicals or plastics manufacturing
  • Prior leadership or lead experience preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and decision-making ability
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities during off-shift
  • Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment is a plus
Preferred:

  • Experience on off-shifts or in high-uptime production environments
  • Background in root cause analysis and continuous improvement
