3rd Shift Maintenance Supervisor
Shift: 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM | Compensation: $70,000 – $85,000
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead a night shift maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role with a clear path toward advancement into the Maintenance Manager position for the right candidate.
What You'll Do
Lead and supervise a team of 3–5 maintenance technicians on the night shift. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues to minimize production downtime. Assign and prioritize work orders based on operational needs. Conduct equipment inspections and enforce preventive maintenance schedules. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, parts usage, and shift reports. Coordinate with day shift supervision to ensure seamless handoffs. Mentor and develop team members to build a strong, safety-first maintenance culture.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Strong electrical AND mechanical aptitude with the ability to work hands-on when needed. Experience in a foundry, metals, or heavy industrial environment is strongly preferred. Solid understanding of PLCs, motor controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals. Proven ability to lead a team effectively during off-hours with minimal oversight. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across shifts and departments.
