Responsible for Coordinating and Supervising Facilities and Maintenance services. Join a friendly and collaborative team, working alongside multiple employees to provide superior facility and maintenance services for our Brooks Rehabiliation Hospital as well as maintenance support to mulitple locations.
Responsibilities:
Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Adheres to policies and procedures specific to patient rights.
Maintains a clean and safe environment: identifies and reports hazards.
Assumes responsibility for maintaining required continuing education and other necessary credentials.
Meets all requirements for mandatory in-services.
Adheres to policies/procedures specific to universal precautions.
Adheres to policies regarding attendance, conduct, grooming and dress code.
Promotes a positive image of the hospital to outside agencies and the public.
Consistently behaves in a courteous manner.
Participates in performance improvement activities as needed.
Exhibits excellent service to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
Show courtesy, compassion and respect.
Exhibits values of the organization.
Coordinates and oversees all work activities for Location.
Supervises onsite maintenance team.
Orders materials, equipment and supplies for all jobs as needed.
Maintains and organizes storage areas and conducts inventory control.
Moves equipment/furniture as necessary. Must be able to lift 50lbs comfortably.
Manages department in Maintenance Manager's absence
Qualifications:
High school or equivalent.
Journeyman or Trade License preferred.
Must have at least Five years of Health Care Facilities experience or equivalent.
Must have experience and understanding of AHCA, Joint Commission, and ICRA Standards.
Must have a working knowledge of HVAC, Electrical Distribution Systems and Plumbing Systems.
Must have valid driver's license.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Light computer skills necessary.
Able to lift 50 lbs. comfortably
Ability to resolve and trouble shoot discrepancies in complex Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Systems.
Must have a clear understanding Healthcare Regulatory Compliance.
Good communication skills.
Needs good Leadership skills.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Bartram Hospital at 6400 Brooks Bartram Drive
Compensation: Experience, education and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
