Description

Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance & Automation Supervisor will lead maintenance, reliability, and automation initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for improving equipment uptime, supporting automation projects, and driving continuous improvement across plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair automated equipment, including conveyors, robotics, sensors, and PLC-controlled machinery.

  • Lead automation and equipment improvement projects from installation through startup and optimization.

  • Develop and support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.

  • Partner with engineering and technical teams on equipment upgrades, process improvements, and smart manufacturing initiatives.

  • Utilize CMMS systems to manage maintenance activities, work orders, and asset history.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment performance.

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and technical support to maintenance and production teams.

  • Promote a strong safety culture and support daily manufacturing operations as needed.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.

  • 1+ years in a leadership, supervisory, or lead role.

  • Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.

  • Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.

  • CMMS experience and continuous improvement mindset.

Salary Range: $85,000-$100k
