What You Will Be Doing
Supervise a team of Crafts persons to execute daily maintenance tasks and PM check sheets. Support investment projects aligned with HeidelbergCement strategy. Report directly to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities
Schedule and supervise maintenance work to meet production needs.
Manage urgent repairs and minimize equipment downtime.
Develop and motivate maintenance staff for reliable performance.
Coordinate with Maintenance Planner for job scheduling and resource planning.
Ensure safety protocols and plant rules are followed during maintenance.
Participate in plant projects and provide mechanical input.
Maintain records and contribute to operational efficiency evaluations.
Support grievance resolution per Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Ensure tools and consumables are available and in good condition.
What We Are Looking For
5 years of mechanical maintenance experience including 1-2 years in supervision, or equivalent training/education.
Cement experience preferred
Experience with large rotating heavy industry machinery.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs; available for off-shift and weekend coverage.
Work Environment
Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm, additional hours may be required per business needs
Participation in bi-weekly on-call program for after-hours maintenance support.
