SHIFT: Day Shift; after-hours, weekend, and overtime availability required as needed for maintenance support
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations and support the reliability of complex production equipment. This individual will combine strong technical troubleshooting skills with hands-on leadership, helping the team restore equipment quickly while driving lasting solutions that reduce repeat failures.
Responsibilities- Lead daily maintenance activities, assign priorities, and provide clear direction to the maintenance team.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment issues alongside the team, including electrical, controls, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Identify underlying causes of equipment failures and implement corrective measures that improve long-term reliability.
- Balance urgent production needs with proper follow-up repairs rather than relying on repeated temporary fixes.
- Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
- Ensure maintenance work is properly documented, including repairs performed, labor, and parts used.
- Coach, develop, and hold maintenance employees accountable for performance, safety, and quality of work.
- Coordinate outside contractors and verify that repairs and maintenance activities are completed effectively.
- Partner with operations to schedule maintenance work while minimizing interruptions.
- Support safe maintenance practices and respond to equipment needs outside normal working hours when necessary.
Qualifications- 10+ years of maintenance experience within a complex production environment.
- 3+ years of experience leading or supervising maintenance personnel.
- Strong hands-on ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex production equipment.
- Technical experience with PLCs/electronic controls, electrical systems, and/or hydraulics, with additional mechanical and pneumatic knowledge.
- Demonstrated experience identifying equipment failure causes and implementing lasting corrective solutions.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation for troubleshooting purposes.
- Proven ability to direct, coach, develop, and hold maintenance employees accountable.
- Relevant industrial trade certification.
- Working knowledge of computerized business and maintenance-related systems.
