Maintenance Supervisor (CNC)

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Requires 3-5 years of facilities management in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Ability to troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC issues, and wire 208V electrical service to equipment or equivalent to current code.
  3. Have knowledge of trouble shooting CNC machines and fixing if possible.
  4. The senses of sight, speech (English), and hearing are required. The physical requirements are sitting or standing the majority of the time in a manufacturing environment. Lifting of articles to a storage location (40 pounds), twisting, bending, stooping, and the flexing of the fingers, hands and wrists in working with the PC are required.
  5. Mental abilities are required to compute math formulas such as percentages, circumference and volume.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Direct the activities of any employees reporting to this position to include making work assignments, scheduling their hours, and making the most effective use of their time and talents. The supervisor is expected to schedule overtime as necessary.
  2. Coordinate and implement preventive maintenance program
  3. Responsibility for maintaining the working area in a neat, orderly and hazard free condition is an important supervisory function. Lost time for accidents and injury needs to be prevented whenever possible.
  4. Training of new hires is an important part of the supervisor’s function.
  5. Responsible to coordinate all outside vendors, contractors etc.

ADMINISTRATIVE

The Maintenance Supervisor (CNC) is responsible for providing employee evaluations for all direct reports. Evaluations will be provided on a regular basis per company policy.

ACCOUNTABILITY

The Maintenance Supervisor (CNC) is accountable for all facility activities. The authority to implement the duties and responsibilities flows from the VP of Engineering.
