Now Hiring: Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a well-established food manufacturing organization. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, supporting equipment reliability, and leading a team focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, maintenance leadership experience, and a background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the maintenance team while promoting a strong safety culture
  • Assign, prioritize, and follow up on maintenance activities
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues
  • Support facility maintenance, equipment reliability, and process improvements
  • Participate in safety meetings, emergency response protocols, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage maintenance schedules, resources, and department expenditures
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and plant safety enhancements
  • Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to support facility goals

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of leadership experience, preferably in a union environment
  • 3–5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in food manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance principles
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
