Maintenance Supervisor – 1st Shift (12-Hour Swing)

Pries Enterprises is seeking an experienced and driven Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical to maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement across the facility.

Schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Shift: 2 on / 2 off, every other weekend
Pay Range: $27–$40/hour (based on experience) plus attendance bonus eligibility


Position Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, leading technicians, coordinating projects, and ensuring equipment and systems are operating safely and efficiently. This role requires strong technical knowledge along with the ability to lead, communicate, and prioritize in a production-driven environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support a team of Maintenance Technicians
  • Schedule and prioritize daily maintenance tasks and larger projects
  • Develop, modify, and manage preventive maintenance programs
  • Monitor work orders and E-Maintenance systems to ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate and guide contractors as directed by the Maintenance Manager
  • Identify equipment issues and recommend repair or replacement solutions
  • Maintain proper inventory levels to minimize downtime
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities are completed efficiently
  • Conduct team meetings and communicate updates clearly across all levels
  • Track attendance, timekeeping, and crew performance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5–10 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Hydraulics
    • PLC systems
    • Motors and mechanical systems
    • Electrical troubleshooting (preferred)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
