Plans, assigns, inspects, and supervises skilled and semi-skilled staff across trades such as masonry, carpentry, painting, electrical, irrigation, sign fabrication, and electronic door systems. Implements preventive maintenance and conducts inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Identifies resource gaps and takes corrective actions. Ensures the safety and welfare of park patrons and staff by evaluating projects for safety, accuracy, and compliance. Exercises independent judgment on work methods, reviewed by supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least three (3) years of supervisory experience in building and mechanical trades.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with supply requisitions, budgeting, contracts, employee records, payroll, work orders, and resource management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Three years of construction project management experience.
- Graduation from an accredited trades apprenticeship or a valid trade license.
