    Description

    CLK Multi Family Management is a well-established property management company seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Cypress Pointe Apartments.

    Position Summary

    The Maintenance Supervisor works closely with the Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community. This role is responsible for supervising maintenance staff, coordinating make-ready units, completing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the property remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained for our residents.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team.
    • Oversee apartment make-readies to ensure units are completed on schedule.
    • Perform and oversee repairs involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and other building systems.
    • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
    • Inspect the property regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
    • Ensure the safety of residents, visitors, employees, and the overall property.
    • Coordinate maintenance projects while prioritizing work orders and deadlines.
    • Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation for all work performed.
    • Assist in maintaining the appearance and functionality of buildings, grounds, and community amenities.
    • Respond to emergency maintenance calls and participate in the on-call rotation.

    Qualifications

    • EPA HVAC Certification required (Universal Certification preferred)
    • Minimum of two (2) years of apartment maintenance experience
    • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and time management abilities
    • Working knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, appliances, and building systems
    • General knowledge of building codes and maintenance regulations
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Ability to perform the physical demands of the position
    • Ability to complete daily work orders and maintenance documentation accurately
    • Successful completion of a criminal background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check is required for all conditional offers of employment

    Schedule

    • Monday through Friday
    • On-call rotation required
    • Weekend availability as needed
