Maintenance Supervisor

Lead maintenance activities across float line systems, autoclaves, furnaces, cutting tables, and robotics. Ensure uptime and product quality through preventive and corrective maintenance. Analyze performance data to reduce downtime and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). Coordinate with production, engineering, and contractors to support operations. Uphold standards for dimensional accuracy, clarity, and defect control. Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Promote continuous improvement and skill development across the maintenance team. Mentor team members through skill progression and training. Manage attendance, timekeeping, and performance. Support union relations and maintain a collaborative work environment. Enforce PPE use and safety protocols. Lead incident investigations and emergency response. Promote a safety-first culture through audits, training, and engagement. Supervisory experience in automotive or glass manufacturing. Strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of float glass operations and industrial utilities. Effective communicator with leadership and organizational strengths. Experience in union environments and collective bargaining. Ability to work 12-hour rotating night shifts with consistent attendance. Knowledge of industrial plant utility systems, furnace and automated equipment. Basic computer, glass manufacturing process knowledge is preferred. Ability to be flexible. Valid drivers' license and ability to drive company vehicles. Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be required as workload or projects dictate, including weekends and holidays. Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis. Excellent analytical, assessment and decision-making skills to solve independently or know when to escalate.
