Your Role:
Responsibilities: Coordinates and supervises activities of the Maintenance Department, including building and machine maintenance, personnel, procedures, documentation and services.
Duties:
• Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of the maintenance personnel. • Maintains knowledge of technological advances in computer applications and specialized instrumentation. • Maintains current knowledge of federal, state and local regulations. • Prepares and maintains required documentation of machinery; records and analyzes data using computer software and prepares necessary reports. • Ensure proper maintenance of facility machinery and building. Inspects jobs in process and at completion to ensure that standards of workmanship and safety are maintained. • Develops and maintains good interpersonal relationships between the Maintenance Department and other departments. • Communicates departmental activities (scheduling, performance, safety and quality) to associates daily. • Maintains communication with Department Manager. • Other duties as assigned
About You:
Job Experience/Technical Expertise:
• Has minimum of 2 years previous supervisory/Leadership experience. • Prefer food plant experience. • Has 3 to 5 years previous maintenance experience. • Prefer food plant maintenance experience. • Safety oriented mindset • Must understand all aspects of the maintenance department to the level of being capable of understanding job requirements and success. • Prefer completion of vocational training or verifiable related job experience. • Acquires and applies professional/technical knowledge at appropriate times. • Bilingual Spanish would be helpful • Must live near area (Monett, Missouri) • High School Degree or equivalent required.
