Full-time Maintenance Supervisor - Third Shift Hours

Great Company is a leading manufacturer in the industry, known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and employee satisfaction. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team for the third shift hours.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance operations during the third shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, machine maintenance, and leadership. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities and maintaining our equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians and staff during the third shift
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies
  • Train and mentor maintenance team members
  • Collaborate with other departments to minimize production downtime
  • Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
  • Identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes and implement solutions
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations promptly and effectively
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage maintenance budgets and control costs
  • Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance activities
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities
  • Stay updated on the latest maintenance technologies and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to work third shift hours (typically 11 PM - 7 AM)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification
  • Experience with predictive maintenance techniques
  • Knowledge of automation and robotics maintenance
