Maintenance Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Oshkosh, WI. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance operations of our facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. You will lead a team of skilled maintenance technicians, fostering a collaborative environment while prioritizing safety and efficiency. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Lead, train, and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment and systems to identify maintenance needs.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Manage maintenance budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance work with minimal disruption.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare reports for management.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Flexible on the Supervisor experience for the right candidate
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
