Overview

Epitec is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor - Powertrain to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Brook Park, Ohio. This position will lead maintenance personnel and coordinate preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance to help keep production equipment, facilities, and systems safe, reliable, and operational.
The ideal candidate brings manufacturing and supervisory experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead maintenance teams while supporting equipment reliability and production goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and assigned personnel.
• Plan and prioritize daily maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, projects, and production needs.
• Coordinate equipment troubleshooting and repairs to minimize downtime and prevent recurring issues.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs, work orders, inspections, and maintenance records.
• Promote safe work practices, including lockout/tagout and applicable permit procedures.
• Partner with production, engineering, safety, and facilities teams to resolve issues and improve equipment reliability.
• Manage maintenance materials, tools, contractors, and service providers within established procedures and budgets.
• Review completed work and verify equipment is returned to service safely and correctly.
• Track maintenance performance, identify recurring issues, and recommend improvements.
• Support audits, incident investigations, training, and continuous-improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and machine operations.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Data analysis and error-proofing skills.
• Labor supervision and team-building experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with UAW environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree.
• Previous experience in a UAW environment.
• Automation experience.

Additional Details

• Fully onsite in Brook Park, OH.
• Morning shift.
• No travel required.
• Overtime may be required based on operational needs.
