Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor Report to: Maintenance Manager BMG Bakery is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and support the daily operation of our bakery equipment and facility. Full-Time Schedule: -40-45 hours per week scheduled as needed -Overtime as needed -Weekend on-call responsibilities As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will: -Supervise and support Maintenance Technicians (6-8) -Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize daily maintenance needs -Oversee preventative maintenance on bakery equipment and machinery -Troubleshoot and assist with mechanical and electrical repairs -Help keep production equipment running safely and efficiently -Assist with welding, fabrication, installation, and repairs as needed -Assign and prioritize maintenance work for the team -Communicate equipment issues and maintenance needs with the Maintenance Manager and other departments -Work cross functional with other departments -Respond to maintenance calls and emergencies during assigned on-call weekends -Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and correctly -Help train and develop Maintenance Technicians -Ensure the maintenance team follows safety, GMP, and company standards -Work hands-on with the maintenance team when needed -Complete other assignments as directed by the Maintenance Manager What We're Looking For: -Experienced maintenance professional with strong mechanical skills -Strong electrical troubleshooting knowledge -Previous leadership or supervisory experience -Strong communication and problem-solving skills -Able to lead a team while also working hands-on -Able to prioritize multiple maintenance needs in a fast-paced production environment -Dependable and available for weekend on-call responsibilities -Able to work independently and make decisions when needed Requirements: -5+ years of industrial maintenance experience required -3+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience required -Experience with industrial equipment and production machinery -Experience with preventative maintenance and equipment repair -Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience -Welding and fabrication experience preferred -Ability to read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics -Must be available for the assigned full-time schedule and weekend on-call rotation The work conditions: -Frequently required to stand and walk for extended periods -Frequent use of hands to handle tools, equipment, and parts -Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb ladders -Lifting and/or moving items up to 50 pounds -Possible exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, noise, and vibrations -Possible exposure to food allergens -Safety glasses, respiratory masks, ear protection, and other PPE are provided as needed -Work within a 65,000-square-foot manufacturing facility with various production and operational areas.
