Job Title: Shift Maintenance Supervisor

Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance staff, driving equipment reliability, and ensuring efficient operations during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, a background in maintenance, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay Rate:

• $65,000 – $118,000 annually + bonus eligibility

Shift:

• 12-Hour Rotating Fireman's Schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage maintenance team members during assigned shift
• Develop team skills through coaching, training, and performance management
• Coordinate work schedules, assignments, and staffing needs
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis (RCA)
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve equipment performance
• Respond to equipment downtime and provide escalation support as needed
• Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures, safety policies, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor work documentation and provide feedback to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Support development and execution of preventative maintenance programs
• Contribute to departmental planning, budgeting, and operational goals

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience working in GMP or regulated environments preferred
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Manufacturing/lab environment with exposure to chemicals and industrial equipment
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift 10–15 lbs as needed
• Must follow all PPE and safety requirements
• Occasional travel (<5%, with potential for short-term higher travel during equipment commissioning)
