    About the role

    At Schwartz Brothers Bakery, we’re passionate about quality, consistency, and the people who make it all happen. We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and help keep our operation running smoothly, safely, and efficiently in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment.

    What you'll do

    As our Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be a key leader on the floor—balancing hands-on technical work with team leadership and coordination.

    • Lead, coach, and support a team of maintenance technicians
    • Plan and oversee preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
    • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively
    • Prioritize daily maintenance needs in partnership with production
    • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards
    • Support and maintain systems including electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
    • Oversee boiler operations, safety checks, and routine maintenance
    • Train team members and help build a strong, reliable maintenance team
    • Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventative maintenance
    • Partner with leadership on process improvements and equipment upgrade


    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or food production environment preferred
    • Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
    • Strong technical knowledge of:
      • Electrical systems (including 3-phase power)
      • Refrigeration systems
      • Plumbing and general mechanical systems
      • Welding/fabrication (a plus)
    • Ability to troubleshoot and make sound decisions under pressure
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment
