About the role
At Schwartz Brothers Bakery, we’re passionate about quality, consistency, and the people who make it all happen. We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and help keep our operation running smoothly, safely, and efficiently in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment.

What you'll do
As our Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be a key leader on the floor—balancing hands-on technical work with team leadership and coordination.
Lead, coach, and support a team of maintenance technicians
Plan and oversee preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively
Prioritize daily maintenance needs in partnership with production
Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards
Support and maintain systems including electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
Oversee boiler operations, safety checks, and routine maintenance
Train team members and help build a strong, reliable maintenance team
Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventative maintenance
Partner with leadership on process improvements and equipment upgrade
Qualifications
Previous experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or food production environment preferred
Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Strong technical knowledge of:
Electrical systems (including 3-phase power)
Refrigeration systems
Plumbing and general mechanical systems
Welding/fabrication (a plus)
Ability to troubleshoot and make sound decisions under pressure
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment
