Location: 14005 Gar Creek Drive, Charlotte, NC

Shift Hours - 8am to 5pm

Claremont Companies is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Maintenance Supervisor to join the opening team of a stunning new 336-unit luxury apartment community.

Job Description:

The Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the community. This position involves ensuring all systems are functioning efficiently, managing maintenance staff, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment for residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in facilities management, mechanical knowledge, and various maintenance disciplines.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Conduct regular inspections of residential facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and low voltage equipment.
Manage facility maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance the longevity of equipment and facilities.
Provide training and support to staff on maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
Collaborate with external vendors for specialized repairs or services as needed.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and work orders.

Qualifications:

Excellent leadership skills with at least 2 years of experience in managing maintenance teams effectively.
Proficient in low voltage systems, electrical work, HVAC, and industrial maintenance.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
Proven experience in facilities management practices and principles.
Experience in maintenance management, including scheduling and resource allocation.
Ability to maintain a safe working environment while adhering to regulatory standards.
