Our client, is a Automotive Manufacturing  company, is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for their Toledo, OH location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Cover all the floor activities and any down equipment. Working with skilled trades and providing them with parts, learning the company’s global manufacturing system to bpd, and there’s a standard STS that we have… which basically support for our machining.
 
Requirements:
  • Types of equipment and machinery will the candidate be responsible for maintaining- Brooch machines, gear machines, paramas, grinders, valve body NTC equipment.
  • We also have case Kamau equipment and then we have supplier through the assembly room.
  • Candidate will be servicing machining… More machining background the better.
  • Typical workflow for a maintenance project in this role- Come in make sure they get their attendance on who called off to set up their day and check email.
  • They go and line up tradesmen that they work with specific jobs that are down.
  • The candidate will follow up through them jobs and monitor a program called Maximo for down equipment and work consistently with the production counterparts on maintenance PMS throughout the day.
  • Technicians or team members would the candidate be supervising
  • They will supervise 20 to 25. 7 electricians, 33 millwrights, 2 machine repair, 2 pipe fitters and 3 tool makers.
  • The kind of leadership style is most successful at the company’s for this position-
  • Candidate must be able to collaborate and work as a one team. Someone that can lead by example. Candidate will need self-motivated and self-starter.
  • Technical- Experience working with CNC equipment and understand electrical mechanical in how things work and have solid examples in automotive manufacturing from their experience. Key is the candidate demonstrating how they understand how the process works. Will consider a candidate that has an engineering background. Candidate will need to have the mechanical and technical skills for this position.
  • Leadership- Examples of how they build teams and created relationships on their teams.
  • Nice to have is understanding Maximo and Kronos.
