Maintenance Supervisor
This Dana facility is located less than three miles from Fiat Chrysler's current Toledo North Assembly Plant, where the current Jeep Wrangler is manufactured. The plant will assemble front and rear axles for the next-generation Jeep Wrangler, keeping the history ofthe location in Toledo alive. In addition to the proximity to FCA's Toledo plant, Dana's new site is optimally located to support automakers throughout the region.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates maintenance activities as directed by the manager.
- Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by the PM program; testing systems and equipment, restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty components and parts.
- Assist in all items associated with the quality, production, safety and DOS programs.
- Manage skilled trades, and plant services of 50+ employees.
- Maintains high standards for housekeeping, safety, and general maintenance.
- Monitors employee attendance and assist in maintaining attendance records along with maintaining discipline within the departments.
- Maintain daily timekeeping, work orders, and all records in regards to the maintenance program.
- Ensure all equipment is in safe working order.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with local and federal codes and regulations.
Education and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or 5+ years maintenance experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance, continuous improvement, predictive/preventive maintenance programs, and proven effectiveness in MTTF/MTBF reductions.
- Technical experience of Journeymen level.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proven ability to appropriately assess and manage risk factors.
- Self-motivated, effective oral and written communication and presentation skills, along with good organizational skills.
- Experience in managing a maintenance department of several different trades groups.
- Must have the ability to work off shift and work overtime and weekends as required.
- Ability to travel for education, training, and maintenance department representation for DOS or sister plant workshops.
- Must have excellent attendance record.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and Kanban.
- Must have the ability to lead projects.
