Our manufacturing client in Waterloo, Iowa seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead process improvements, automation projects, and team management.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing methods, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance sustainability.
- Lead automation initiatives with vendors, implement best practices, and improve production quality.
- Coordinate product industrialization, from prototyping to certification, and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide process documentation, set cycle times, and lead safety and quality audits.
- Supervise the maintenance team, manage budgets, and foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Qualifications include a degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance or engineering, electrical or mechanical background, automation knowledge, and strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with lean principles, CAD, ERP, and rubber manufacturing is a plus.
