Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools, and equipment and in maintenance of buildings, grounds and utility systems of industrial plants or other establishments and performs several safety-related functions by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates and/or other company employees.

Supervisor and Leadership Expectations
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Maintenance Department. Also directly supervises five (5) to ten (10) non-supervisory maintenance employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems upon consultation with the Director of Manufacturing, the Manufacturing Manager and/or Director of Human Resources if necessary.
