Maintenance Tech 2 - Fuel Dispenser

General Job Description:

Performs manual tasks related to the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment (such as carpentry, painting, equipment maintenance). Performs other duties as assigned e.g. light janitorial services at the Terminal/Office complex. Fuel dispensing of Jet-A fuel and towing/repositioning of aircraft.

Position Duration/Work Hours/Salary

Position begins asap, no later than August 1, 2026, and is a permanent, full-time position w/full benefits e.g. health, life, disability and dental insurance, paid vacation and pension plan.

Work Hours (may vary as required) 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday thru Friday, Off Major Holidays

Annual Salary $60,831 to $70,608 D.O.E. With full State benefits package. Must be flexible re: possible overtime.

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License, possesses or has the ability to acquire a CDLwith HAZMAT
• Current WSDA pesticide license. Responsible for applying pesticides to control noxious weeds on port property.
• Experience involving the maintenance and/or repair of buildings, equipment or grounds using hand and/or power tools.
• Has experience or able/willing to learn to operate a fuel truck and dispense fuel into aircraft
• Knowledge of general maintenance principles, practices and techniques
• Skill in applying maintenance principles, practices and techniques
• Ability to perform tasks that require repetitious bending
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50lbs
• Ability to work at heights that exceed 10ft
• Work independently or cooperatively with others
• Understand and follow written and oral instructions
• Authorize and pass drug testing and background check
• Other duties as assigned
