We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a client located in Seneca, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance on production and facility equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operation.  Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production and facility equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment issues, identify root causes, and repair or replace defective components.
  • Follow preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including parts used, labor time, and costs, in QT9.
  • Support production teams by responding promptly to breakdowns and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality standards, including proper Lockout/Tagout and OSHA machine guarding practices.
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and relocations as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and maintain SQDIP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity) standards within the department.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices and ensure work areas are clean and organized.
  • Work independently and prioritize tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
 Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment, or
    • Associate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or completion of an accredited apprenticeship/journeyman program with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical/electronic wiring, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis methods.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and machine guarding.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Basic computer literacy (Excel, Word, maintenance software).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.
  • Capable of lifting up to 45 pounds and performing physical tasks such as standing, stooping, climbing, and walking regularly.
  • Must wear required PPE and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
