Maintenance Technician - Hillcrest Health & Rehab

Location: Hillcrest Health & Rehab

Schedule: Full-time

Starting Pay: $19.00+ per hour, depending on experience

Hillcrest Health & Living is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue, NE.

Hillcrest Health & Rehab is a skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, and long-term care facility serving aging adults in Bellevue. The community provides short-term rehab, long-term care, and senior services in a warm, supportive setting, with a focus on high-quality care and helping residents and guests feel comfortable, safe, and cared for.

What You'll Get to Do

  • Maintain physical plant standards to help ensure a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment

  • Perform building repairs, including drywall, painting, masonry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, and other general maintenance needs

  • Respond to and complete work orders in a timely manner

  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks on schedule

  • Document completed work in asset management software

  • Support OSHA and Life Safety Code compliance standards

  • Assist other departments by moving and setting up equipment needed for resident and guest care

  • Coordinate with vendors as directed by the Environmental Services Director or Administrator

  • Assist with snow removal as needed

  • Perform Life Safety Code audits as needed

  • Be available for on-call support as needed and assigned

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • At least two years of building maintenance experience preferred

  • Schooling in HVAC preferred

  • Knowledge of HVAC systems preferred

  • Maintenance certificate preferred

  • Driver's license preferred to operate company vehicle

  • Ability to stay calm, flexible, and professional in stressful situations

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform repetitive sitting, bending, and standing movements

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfort using technology and resources efficiently
