Position: Maintenance Technician (Temporary)

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Employment Type: Temporary

Schedule: Full‑time hours (schedule may vary)

Position Overview

A confidential client is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support day‑to‑day facility operations during a temporary assignment. This role will assist with general maintenance, basic repairs, and upkeep to ensure a safe and functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and general maintenance tasks as assigned
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner
• Assist with basic repairs related to plumbing, fixtures, doors, and equipment
• Support housekeeping, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks as needed
• Prepare vacant rooms or workspaces for occupancy
• Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized manner
• Follow safety guidelines and report maintenance concerns to management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior general maintenance or facilities experience strongly preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic knowledge of tools and maintenance practices
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50-75 lbs as needed
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

• This is a temporary assignment currently
• Pay rate is $17/hour
