Maintenance Tech Electrical - North Vernon, IN - $30/hr

Location: North Vernon, IN

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Overview:

We're seeking a Maintenance Tech Electrical to support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated production equipment and control systems.

This is a hands-on role supporting CNC equipment, automation systems, conveyors, robotics, and plant-wide electrical and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate has experience with manufacturing process controls, industrial maintenance, and Allen Bradley and/or Fanuc control systems.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a highly automated manufacturing environment with potential for long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support production operations through troubleshooting and repair of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and automation systems.

Maintain and repair CNC mills, conveyors, robots, and automated manufacturing equipment.

Perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance activities.

Troubleshoot manufacturing process control systems and equipment failures.

Support automation projects, equipment upgrades, and control modifications.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and equipment specifications.

Research replacement parts and assist with maintenance planning activities.

Complete maintenance documentation and communicate equipment status to production teams.

Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following company safety procedures.

Requirements:

Associate degree in Automated Manufacturing, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Tool Engineering Technology, or related field, OR equivalent work experience.

2+ years of experience with manufacturing process controls.

Working knowledge of industrial hardware and operating computer systems.

Experience troubleshooting electrical and automation systems within a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience supporting automated production equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Allen Bradley controls experience.

Fanuc controls experience.

CNC machining equipment experience.

Robotics and automation experience.

ISO9001, IATF16949, and ISO14001 awareness.

Experience in automotive manufacturing environments.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Rate: $30/hour

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract-to-Hire

Shift: 2nd Shift

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Shift differential is already included in the hourly rate.
