Maintenance Technician / Handyman
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Position Summary
Our client is seeking a dependable and motivated
Maintenance Technician/Handyman to support the day-to-day upkeep of their facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with basic maintenance experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general building and facility maintenance tasks.
- Complete minor repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry work.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance needs.
- Assist with preventative maintenance activities.
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities maintenance, handyman work, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair techniques.
- Ability to safely operate forklift equipment (forklift certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification).
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Occasional overtime may be available based on business needs.
Compensation & Benefits
- $18.50 per hour
