Description
Responsibilities Level 1:
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment, both electrical and mechanical
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines in accordance with schedule.
- Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and requirements.
- Reviews daily maintenance schedule to ensure all jobs are complete in a timely manner, with minimal interference with production.
- Provide assistance and support for emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance of production equipment during machine service.
- Maintain good housekeeping in all areas.
- Handle company equipment with care.
- Responds quickly to inquiries and follows up as needed.
- Is available to work overtime when required, including weekends.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Production Support Manager.
Qualifications Level 1:
- Minimum of 1 years' experience
- Must have excellent verbal, written and listening skills and have the ability to provide written and verbal instructions and present information clearly.
- Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, technical documents, and troubleshooting guides.
- Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
- Must have the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Must have the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Must exhibit professionalism when communicating with superiors and subordinates.
- Must be able to pay attention to detail.
