Job Type: Temp-to-HirePosition OverviewPeople Source OKC is hiring a Maintenance Technician I / Driver for a valve company in Oklahoma City. This position will perform routine preventive maintenance and general facility repairs to help ensure building systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently.The position also includes driving a company vehicle to pick up and deliver parts and materials to local vendors. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, comfortable troubleshooting equipment, and experienced with general building maintenance.Job Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance department with daily work requirements
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems
• Perform general carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs
• Repair and maintain building fixtures, including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains
• Select and safely use the appropriate tools, machines, and materials for maintenance work
• Evaluate equipment and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, capability, and performance
• Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and functional facility
• Drive a company vehicle to pick up and deliver parts and materials to local vendors
• Safely operate a company vehicle in varying weather conditions
• Follow all local and state driving laws, safety requirements, and company policies
• Provide professional and dependable service when interacting with vendors and team members
• Work independently and with other team members as needed

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1–3 years of related maintenance experience preferred
• Must have a current, non-provisional and unrestricted driver's license
• Must have a safe driving record acceptable to the company's insurance carrier
• Understanding of electrical systems, including 120V, 240V, and 480V 3-phase
• Knowledge of PVC and pipe plumbing
• General knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs
• Mechanical aptitude strongly preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify maintenance issues
• Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required

Additional Information

• $21.00/hour
• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Temp-to-hire opportunity
