The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the following duties:
- Establishes and maintains preventive and predictive maintenance support system for equipment, all
- Establishes and maintains preventive and predictive maintenance support system for equipment and tools, spare parts, etc.
- Manages all preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance at the farm within safe, legal, and permissible limits
- Administers farm maintenance procedures
- Coordinates all functions necessary to ensure the efficient and reliable maintenance of the farm for optimized production levels
- Ensures that an adequate inventory of all materials and supplies are available to support routine maintenance programs. Maintain spare parts history and implement and maintain inventory control.
- Coordinates needs in conjunction with Maintenance Coordinator for current and upcoming projects
- Responsible for exterior maintenance
- Perimeter walks to keep building exterior(s) tidy
- Light winter snow removal and landscaping
- Regular inspection of the bunkhouses for cleanliness and repair
- Operate powered industrial trucks
