Maintenance Tech II - HVAC
General Description
The Maintenance Technician II - HVAC position is primarily responsible for performing preventive maintenance and scheduled upkeep on HVAC and related mechanical systems across the organization. This role focuses on executing documented preventive maintenance tasks, inspections, and routine servicing to ensure system reliability and early identification of potential failures.
The Maintenance Technician II performs limited corrective repairs within defined scope, accurately documents work activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), and escalates complex repairs or system deficiencies to senior technicians or supervisors for resolution. This position typically supports evening, overnight, and off‑hours operations, contributing to campus reliability outside of normal business hours.
