Primary Function:
The Maintenance Technician II will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance and repair of
distribution equipment as well as general maintenance of the facility.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintenance of mechanical assets throughout the facility as set forth by the facility
maintenance manager.
- Perform all responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician I as needed.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all material/product handling equipment
components.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines as directed.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment problems and understand resources needed to resolve them.
- Ensures equipment, tools, and spare parts are accounted for and secured when not in use.
- Perform preventative / predictive and emergency maintenance of equipment using appropriate job plans,
procedures and manuals within safe, legal and contractually permissible limits.
- Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays and proximity sensors.
- Basic facility maintenance including but not limited to light electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry.
- Assist in mentoring junior technicians by providing guidance and directions to help them develop.
- Assist with basic electronics / Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) troubleshooting.
- Responsible for maintaining spirit of teamwork and productivity among fellow maintenance personnel.
- Responsible for maintaining qualifications to perform tasks through ongoing training programs of new and
existing equipment.
- Follows all established plant maintenance procedures.
- Perform all functions necessary to ensure the efficient and reliable maintenance of the plant for optimized
production levels.
- Follow tool control and inventory program to support routine maintenance.
Education/Background Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous related work experience required.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- PC knowledge, Microsoft Office OS.
- Experience with predictive / preventative maintenance tools and procedures.
- Repair of material handling equipment.
- Electrical & Electronic knowledge.
- Requires a thorough understanding of all aspects of plant maintenance, and a good working knowledge
of carpentry, and plumbing.
Shift : A2 Sunday - Tuesday 5 pm - 5 am Wednesday 5 pm - 11 pm
Working Conditions:
- Combination of office and refrigerated warehouse environment.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
