Maintenance Tech II, Trails and Streams Crew

The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our Grounds Trails and Streams Crew located in West Chicago, IL. This role is a great opportunity to join a skilled, supportive team dedicated to high-quality work and the larger mission of the forest preserve. This position focuses on the installation, maintenance and repair of landscape features throughout the district's preserves, including planting, vegetation management, trailside landscaping, and the upkeep of natural areas. Additional responsibilities may include bench construction, finishing, and maintenance. Experience installation, maintenance, and monitoring of various types of drainage structures. Current IL Dept. of Agriculture Pesticide Operator's License preferred.
