JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, performs moderately complex maintenance related to operations, machinery equipment and automation systems like PLC programming. Incumbents perform major building electrical, construction and security equipment maintenance and repairs. Provides input to proposed manufacturing equipment. Modifies, rebuilds, and installs capital equipment. LEADS: Maintenance Technicians III/Leads provide leadership, schedule work hours/assignments and training to assigned staff; in addition, assumes Maintenance Supervisors' duties in their absence as it relates to work instructions only. Works flexible, alternate shifts: including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:
11. Performs minor repairs on electronic circuit boards/control panels which control the automation of manufacturing equipment (Leads only).
MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:
1. Advance knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic processes and repair methods/techniques.
2. Must understand PLC ladder logic and text-based logic programs within control systems for manufacturing equipment.
3. Intermediate to advance skills in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics and/or blueprints as well as technical product specifications to understand and identify standard manufacturing parts. In addition, must be able to read safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
4. Ability to train others in the maintenance of machines and continuous learning and application of maintenance techniques/methods.
5. Organize and prioritize work orders while meeting deadlines to minimize production downtime with a high-level of accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
6. Ability to deal with problems/issues involving some variation in standardized situations.
7. Work under direct supervision and independently and foster a cooperative spirit within a large and/or small team.
8. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to execute e-mails, word documents and open power point presentations and use Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) Systems.
9. Leads: Must be flexible to adjustment to demands of the business and shift assignments, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

1. This position requires occasional sitting at a desk, up to 3 hours a day, using a computer.
2. Must be able stand/walk frequently up to 6 hours a day to observe machines, conduct rounds, and record log entries.

4. Ability to occasionally lift items over 100 pounds with assistance and/or mechanical lifting devices.
5. Ability to occasionally lift items overhead up to 50 pounds.
6. Ability to bend and twist at the waist/squat/kneel/crawl/climb occasionally up to 3 hours a day.

11. Fine hand manipulation of light-moderate strength is required to operate touch screen displays.

13. Must be able to speak/hear verbal communications and respond to machine alarms/buzzers.
14. Subject to periodic exposures to varying temperatures, occasional exposure to noise levels above 85 decibels, gas/fumes/mists, and chemicals or hazardous materials while using personal protective equipment when required.
15. May be exposed to crawl spaces/cramped positions up to 1 hour/day.
16. Must wear safety shoes in required areas.
17. Must be able to work extended hours per the demands of the business.
18. Must possess a valid driver's license and remain qualified as a Driver under the Hydranautics Driver Policy.
