Maintenance Tech

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Tech to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to emergency repair requests, and ensuring the overall maintenance of our facility. If you have a strong background in building maintenance and are able to work independently with minimal supervision, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment and supplies

• Share and follow safety rules and policies and procedures of the maintenance department

• Maintain the building in good repair and keep free of hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems

• Perform monthly maintenance checks of the building, grounds, and facilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair work, such as painting, minor carpentry, repair work, changing light bulbs

• Coordinate maintenance work with other departments

• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment

• Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative, and make independent decisions

• Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass level 2 fingerprinting with Eligible status

Working Environment:

Our facility is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and we are looking for someone who is able to thrive in this type of setting. You will be working in an elderly care facility and will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

Must be able to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status.
