Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Midland, TX. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring facilities and machinery operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high operational standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve potential problems
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
  • Assist with installation of new equipment and systems
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors when necessary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varied conditions

Preferred Skills

  • HVAC certification or experience
  • Welding or fabrication experience
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems
