In this entry-level skilled trades position, you'll work alongside experienced Maintenance Mechanics to repair, renovate, and maintain City facilities including fire stations, recreation centers, the Municipal Management Operations Building (MMOB), and other municipal buildings. About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician – Structural, you'll assist Maintenance Mechanics in performing repairs, renovations, preventative maintenance, and construction projects throughout City-owned facilities.
You'll gain experience maintaining and repairing:
During your first several months, you'll ride with experienced technicians, become familiar with City facilities, and learn maintenance procedures before progressing to independently performing repairs and operating a City service vehicle.
