Responsibilities:

Maintenance Technician 1:

  • Complete daily preventative maintenance.
  • Grease and lube machines as directed.
  • Change air filters on machines and air conditioning units.
  • Assist with daily repairs of equipment.
  • Monitor lift stations for buildings.
  • Clean machining chips from tanks and filters.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Technician 2 additionally:

  • Assist in troubleshooting, repair and proof repair to return equipment to service.
  • Complete general maintenance of buildings and grounds.
  • Continuously gain knowledge in the trades necessary to execute prompt and reliable service to increase department efficiency.
  • Correspond with all departments involved in any maintenance needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Technician 3 additionally:

  • Thoroughly complete the weekly generated equipment preventative maintenance work orders.
  • Completes all applicable paperwork for the department as necessary, including documentation of problems, troubleshooting techniques and repair procedures.
  • Learn to scope repair work orders for time and materials needed to complete the task.
  • Order parts and tools needed for specific jobs.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance for building structures.
  • Promptly respond to equipment failures, troubleshoot, repair and proof to return equipment to service.
  • Assist with the training of Maintenance Technicians Level 1 & 2.
  • Other duties as assigned

Maintenance Technician 4 additionally:

  • Must have complete skill base of Maintenance Technicians Level 1, 2 & 3.
  • Must demonstrate leadership qualities with regard to training Maintenance Technicians Level 1, 2 & 3.
  • Finds and utilizes contractors for work beyond normal abilities at facility.
  • Other duties as assigned.

C. Technical Requirements / Skills:

  • Able to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Must be familiar with terminology used in the maintenance trades.

D. Certificates, Licenses & Registrations:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and record that conforms to company's insurance policies, ATF, DOT, and State of other required Hazmat training.

E. Work Authorization / Security Clearance:

  • Authorized to work in United States.
  • Able to meet ATF & regulatory security requirements.

Work Environment / Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Due to the nature of the work, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is sometimes at a risk of electrical shock while troubleshooting a piece of equipment. Once the problem has been diagnosed, all energy sources to the machine are to be locked out and tagged out according to OSHA and company policies before repairs are attempted. Will occasionally work in high perch places; and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee

could be exposed to fumes, airborne particles and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
