Maintenance Technician
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Maintenance Technician to support operations within a fast-paced distribution and manufacturing environment
Job Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on warehouse equipment and facility systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize operational downtime.
Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area within the Maintenance and Engineering Department.
Complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently while meeting productivity expectations.
Maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies, tools, and repair equipment.
Support the operation and maintenance of motorized material handling equipment, including electric forklifts and electric pallet trucks.
Operate powered equipment such as electric forklifts and scissor lifts in a safe and compliant manner.
Lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures.
Basic knowledge of distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing equipment and systems.
Ability to read, understand, and complete maintenance work orders.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to operate or learn to operate electric forklifts and scissor lifts.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with PLC-based applications in an industrial environment.
Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and industrial electrical wiring.
Experience with tooling and calibration services.
Familiarity with Zebra and Lexmark printer maintenance and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic conveyor systems and drive equipment.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Maintenance, Electronics, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
Industrial Electrician Certification or equivalent technical certification.
Experience maintaining material handling equipment in a distribution or manufacturing setting.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution and/or manufacturing environment.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment, including electric forklifts and scissor lifts.
