Job Description:

 

Compensation: $29.15 to $43.75 - paid weekly (Based on Expereince)

Shifts Available: Days - 7AM to 7PM 2-2-3 schedule

Position Overview 

The Maintenance Technician supports production operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems within the Wrap department. This role ensures equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and supports continuous improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Troubleshoot mechanical systems, electrical wiring, and electronic controllers. 
  • Tear down and replace defective components, including bearings, motors, servo motors, PLCs, gears, electronic drives, clutches, brakes, belts, chains, and electrical parts. 
  • Perform all required preventive maintenance tasks. 
  • Work from blueprints, drawings, and equipment layouts to complete repairs accurately. 
  • Restore equipment to maximum operating efficiency to meet or exceed productivity and waste‑reduction targets. 
  • Continuously monitor equipment and communicate issues or concerns to supervision. 
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while following all safety procedures. 

 Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Experience in Injection Molding or Extrusion preferred. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Experience with packaging equipment is desirable. 
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems; must be able to read blueprints. 
  • Must supply own basic tools; company provides specialty tools as needed. 
  • Computer proficiency is a plus. 
  • Strong initiative and willingness to take on additional responsibilities. 
  • Effective communication skills for working with supervision and cross‑functional teams.
