Maintenance Technichian (Days)

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for Bayou Processing & Storage, in east Houston. This position will handle the maintenance and repair of any electrical power source tasks related to equipment or facilities.Responsibilities:

Handles needed repairs for equipment and or facilitiesCompletes Preventive Maintenance on all equipmentMaintains tool inventory and in proper storageMaintains inventory of replacement parts and equipmentInspects tools and equipment to ensure they are in working orderUpdates maintenance and repair logs for equipmentMaintains a safe, neat, and orderly facility alwaysIdentifies process deficiencies and reports them to managementAttends and/or leads all required training and safety sessionsImmediately reports all safety violations or unsafe work conditionsPerforms other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous experience with maintenance/repair of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems on industrial equipmentStrong mechanical skills and ability to use power and hand toolsStrong math aptitudeAbility to reach and follow service repair manualsProfessional communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
