As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting the upkeep and smooth operation of our facility. Youll work closely with your team to ensure that equipment, systems, and building components are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the cleaning, maintenance, and repair of facility equipment, systems, and building components to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Maintaining a clean, organized production floor, and maintenance areas while supporting safety compliance.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing floors, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas as needed.
- Collecting and disposing of trash, recycling, and debris throughout the facility following company procedures.
- Restocking janitorial and restroom supplies, and notifying supervisors when inventory is low.
- Supporting spill cleanup, minor outdoor upkeep, and general housekeeping tasks as assigned.
- Assisting with routine preventive maintenance on facility equipment, machinery, and building systems.
- Inspecting equipment and work areas to detect maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Replacing worn or damaged parts such as belts, filters, light fixtures, and minor hardware components.
- Using hand and power tools safely to complete maintenance tasks.
- Responding promptly to maintenance work orders and documenting work completed.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High school diploma or GED; technical training or maintenance certification is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to operate common hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Prior forklift experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a dependable attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks comfortably.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
