Maintenance Technician- 1st Shift

JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician SCHEDULE: Full Time LOCATION: Westminster, CO INDUSTRY: Food Manufacturing FLSA STATUS: Hourly Non-Exempt REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician performs day-to-day maintenance, repair, and equipment troubleshooting including, but not limited to, the following major tasks and responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose, inspect, and repair complex interrelated process machinery in a sanitary food manufacturing environmentProvide preventative maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities with mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical skillsRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC I/O systems and field devices.Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on motion control systems, servo drives, and VFDs.Support equipment operating with voltages ranging from 480V AC to 24V DC control systems.Troubleshoot sensors, relays, contactors, motors, and safety circuits.Assist with equipment startups, commissioning, and machine modifications.Performs preventative maintenance in accordance with schedules and equipment O&M recommendations/Claremont Foods standardsFacilities maintenance such as drywall repairs, basic plumbing, man door and garage door repair, and office maintenanceResponds to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs to maintain production equipment in a full safe working capacityAbility to work in a manufacturing environmentConsistently follow food safety and good manufacturing practicesMaintains compliance with SQF standards and use of appropriate PPEPerforms other duties as assigned
