Title: Maintenance Technician II
Location: Alsip, IL 
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Shift: 3rd Shift | Sunday Night – Friday Morning | 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Up to 5 hours of overtime per week)
Compensation: $35.00–$37.00/hour

Must Have Skill Set:
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot, edit, and maintain Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLCs (no programming required)
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment
  • Preventive maintenance and equipment repair experience
  • Manufacturing experience required (no facilities, commercial, or residential maintenance backgrounds)

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and controls experience to support a high-speed manufacturing operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, has experience maintaining Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLC systems, and is eager to continue developing their technical skills. We're looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, and excited to learn and grow within a collaborative maintenance team.

Job Duties:
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled production equipment.
  • Maintain and edit Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLC programs for troubleshooting and equipment support (no programming required).
  • Perform preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, overhauls, and installations.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and work closely with production to minimize downtime.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs using a CMMS.
  • Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely while following all safety, GMP, and quality procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLCs; programming experience is not required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and controls systems.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance and industrial production equipment.
  • Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn, develop new skills, and grow within the organization.
  • Ability to work independently on 3rd shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • No facilities, commercial, or residential maintenance experience will be considered—manufacturing maintenance experience is required.
