This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing food processing equipment, conveyors, and facility systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production. The position focuses on equipment reliability and general maintenance.key responsibilities Equipment & Facility Maintenance Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on: Dough & pasta processing equipment Cooking and cooling systems Conveyors and general production equipment Packaging machinery Plant utilities (water, compressed air, basic electrical systems) Troubleshooting & Repairs Diagnose and repair: Mechanical systems (bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes) Basic pneumatic systems Low-voltage electrical issues Perform timely repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production flow General Maintenance & Support Perform routine facility maintenance including: Basic plumbing repairs Building upkeep and general repairs Assist with: Equipment installations Basic line changeovers Preventive maintenance programs Fabrication & Systems Perform light welding and fabrication (MIG/TIG) on stainless steel components Utilize CMMS to document work orders, maintenance activity, and parts usage Safety & Compliance Follow all safety protocols including: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) PPE requirements Hot work permits Maintain compliance with: GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards 5S and SQF requirements Collaborate with Production, QA, and Sanitation teams to ensure safe operations Other duties as assigned.
